My name is Marcie and this is the part where I tell you about myself.
I love photography, but you’ve probably already suspected that. The thing that makes me a bit different than so many other photographers is what drives me to create. It’s not the fame and fortune – everyone knows artists are spured on by passion, right? My desire is to create portraits people describe as magical, enchanting, and unique. There’s no reason for me to produce the same sort of work any number of portrait photographers can churn out. I want you to look at the images we create and feel like I’ve captured the most extraordinary version of you.
When I’m not behind the camera, I love traveling, eating Korean food, enjoying fancy hot drinks, creating obscure Pinterest boards, daydreaming about the Pacific Northwest, and watching movies. I really dislike televised sports, beer, being too hot, and mean people. I’m a quirky, outspoken, silver haired woman who probably curses too much.
I have an adorable little family and one old, gassy Boston Terrier. My amazing wife is an educator and therapist primarily working with our local LGBTQ community. Our little boy is fantastic goofball with a mouthful of five dollar words and a heart as big as the moon.
My images are remarkable because of the rapport I build with my clients – trust, patience, humor, and skill is what I’ve built my reputation on. Come laugh with me.
